Ireland End Canada Sevens With Three Play-Off Wins

A hat-trick of play-off victories saw the Ireland Men’s Sevens team, sponsored by TritonLake, finish ninth at the HSBC Canada Sevens in Vancouver.

Ireland were unable to match their efforts from the past two HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series legs where they came fourth, but a 100% record on day two ensured they ended the Easter weekend on a positive note.

Jordan Conroy and Terry Kennedy scored five tries each, with Kennedy’s haul keeping him at the top of the series’ try-scoring charts for this season, his haul of 32 tries only matched by Australia’s Corey Toole.
