Ireland Gym Session In Dubai

Ireland lead the way in WXV3 with two bonus point wins putting them a single point ahead of Spain. The two sides meet in the decider on Saturday afternoon with the match live on rugbypass.tv at 2pm Irish time.

The squad were back in the gym yesterday as they step up preparations for the final match in the inaugural WXV Tournament. Head Coach Scott Bemand has spoken about the approach taken to the tournament by coaches and players alike, “It’s going to be massive for Ireland (to have a strong squad) going forward. We keep talking about this squad of 30 – everyone’s got a part to play, everyone’s got growth to go after.

“We’ve sort of come out and said even if it’s not about match minutes, the training minutes and the exposure to the environment will be a massive benefit both to the player and us.”
