Four Wins Send Ireland Women Through To Sevens World Cup

Comprehensive wins over Wales (62-0), Germany (27-0), Czechia (52-0) and Portugal (36-0) saw the Ireland Women’s Sevens team, sponsored by TritonLake, achieve their qualification goal in Bucharest over the weekend.

Ireland booked their place at September’s Rugby World Cup Sevens, alongside Spain, England and Poland, with a run of 29 tries scored and none conceded.
