Bonus Point Triumph Sends Ireland U-20s Into 5th-8th Place Play-Offs

Michael Milne, Azur Allison, Rob Russell and Ryan Baird all scored their first tries for the Ireland Under-20s – and Cormac Foley chipped in with his second – as Noel McNamara’s youngsters got the better of Italy on a 38-14 scoreline.

The bonus point win earned them a second place finish in Pool B and sets up a mouth-watering rematch with England in Rosario in Monday’s 5th-8th place play-offs (kick-off 3.30pm local time/7.30pm Irish time).
