Two more players, Tom Roche and Tamilore Awonusi, made their HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series debuts as the Ireland Men claimed another top-eight finish in Malaga.

Anthony Eddy’s charges were knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Argentina, having topped their pool thanks to wins over Japan (33-14), Germany (24-7) and Australia (10-5).
