The former Ireland and Ulster rugby captain is calling on Ireland’s business leaders to sign up to join him for the 235-mile charity walk ─ the equivalent of nine marathons in nine days ─ taking place from 12th-20th September at https://cancerfundforchildren.com/event/rorys-miles-to-mayo-the-trilogy/. Each participant will walk around 50,000 steps daily across Derry/Londonderry, Belfast, Dublin, Kildare, Carlow, Cork, Limerick and Galway before finishing in Cong, Co. Mayo at the site of Cancer Fund for Children’s second Daisy Lodge therapeutic short break centre due to open in spring 2027.
