There were plenty of firsts for the Ireland Women’s XVs programme in 2022 as a first summer tour was undertaken to Japan and their first tranche of professional contracts were signed for XVs players. Across 2022 the squad competed in 7 Test matches with 45 players seeing action in green including 15 new caps
