Dardis Excited To Be Part Of Team Ireland

The Ireland 7s team are on their way to Tokyo as part of Team Ireland. We caught up with Billy Dardis after a last run out at the IRFU High Performance Centre before departure.

Speaking about the build up the team captain said, ‘It’s still hard to wrap my head around going to the Olympics but getting the pool draw and getting kitted out with Team Ireland has made it real. We’re excited to be going.

“We’ll quarantine in the Olympic Village when we get there and then hopefully we can give everyone something to cheer about once the matches kick off.”
