Ireland’s Six Nations Matches Against Italy Will Be Behind Closed Doors

The IRFU can confirm that, in accordance with the Government of Ireland rules in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ireland’s Guinness Six Nations and Women’s Six Nations matches against Italy on Saturday, October 24th, will be closed to the public.

Tickets for the original matches were cancelled and a refund mechanism was announced in August – click here for more details.

Both matches will be live on TV on what promises to be a Super Saturday for Irish Rugby fans.

The Ireland Men kick off at 3.30 pm against Italy at Aviva Stadium in Guinness Six Nations with the game live on Virgin Media and RTÉ Radio. There will also be extensive coverage of the game on IrishRugby.ie and our social channels.

Ireland Women will be live on RTÉ TV and Radio at 6.30pm as they look to complete a trio of home wins in the Women’s Six Nations Championship. We’ll have updates from the game across our channels.

In accordance with government guidelines there are no tickets available and there will be no fans in the grounds.
