Ulster To Play Glasgow In Back-To-Back Pre-Season Games

Ulster have confirmed that they will host beaten GUINNESS PRO14 finalists Glasgow Warriors in back-to-back pre-season fixtures in September.

Kingspan Stadium will host the first of the matches on Saturday, September 7 (kick-off 1.30pm), before the return clash at Scotstoun Stadium the following Saturday with a 2.30pm kick-off.

The two games will provide Dan McFarland and his rejigged Ulster coaching team with a valuable opportunity to assess their squad ahead of the new GUINNESS PRO14 season, which will start at the end of September.

Last August, a number of Abbey Insurance Academy players, including Michael Lowry, Eric O’Sullivan, Angus Kernohan and James Hume, featured in pre-season encounters before going on to enjoy breakthrough seasons with the Ulster senior team.

For Ulster supporters, the game at Kingspan Stadium may be a first opportunity to see new signings such as Sam Carter, Matt Faddes, Gareth Milasinovich and Bill Johnston in action, while the likes of Will Addison and Craig Gilroy could feature after missing large chunks of the past season due to injuries.

The fixture at Kingspan Stadium is included in the 2019/20 Ulster Rugby Season Ticket package, which offers a significant saving on match-by-match purchasing and includes a host of other benefits. Please visit www.ulsterrugby.com/seasontickets for details.

Tickets for this home game will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, June 12 via www.ulsterrugby.com/buytickets. For additional queries, or to make a purchase over the phone, please contact Paula, Heather, Bronagh or Jen in the Ticket Office on (028) 9049 3222 (option 2).

Ticketing information for the Glasgow v Ulster match at Scotstoun Stadium will be confirmed over the next few weeks.
