Only a point separates the two clubs as they clash tonight in Division 1A of the All-Ireland League. The Dooradoyle outfit are on 26 points in 4th place with Shannon just behind them in 5th.
The same margin separated them back in December with Garryowen coming from 11 points down with 13 minutes remaining to stun their local rivals with an action-packed 30-29 defeat under the Dooradoyle floodlights.
