UL Bohs’ Allen-Connolly Wins #AILWomensTry Of The Month For October

Rachel Allen-Connolly of UL Bohemians is the October winner of the #AILWomensTry of the Month award in the Women’s All-Ireland League. The winner was chosen by Ireland Women’s 15s head coach Adam Griggs.

The winning try, which beat off stiff competition from eight other scores, was scored in UL Bohemians’ 40-33 bonus point win over Blackrock at Stradbrook on Saturday, October 27.

Laura Sheehan, expertly released by Niamh Briggs, took play from inside her own half up to the 22 before linking with Nicole Cronin. The Ireland scrum half stepped right before flicking a reverse pass back inside for onrushing centre Rachel Allen-Connolly to finish off a brilliant team move.
