This weekend sees Irish match officials on duty across the GUINNESS PRO14, the Rugby Championship, the inaugural Celtic Cup, and the Women’s and underage Interprovincial Championships.

The Celtic Cup development competition kicks off on Friday evening with IRFU international referee Joy Neville taking charge of Ulster ‘A’ v Leinster ‘A’ at Malone RFC in Belfast, while Ulster’s own Jonny Erskine is in charge of the Munster ‘A’ v Connacht ‘A’ tie at Irish Independent Park.

In the GUINNESS PRO14 there are 14 Irish match officials on duty over the weekend with Frank Murphy, Andrew Brace and Sean Gallagher all occupying main roles for games in round 2.

In round 2 of the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship, Colm Roche has the whistle as Ulster welcome reigning champions Munster to Portadown RFC’s Chambers Park, and Barry Moloney is in the middle as Connacht host Leinster at the Sportsground.
