Ahead of the GUINNESS PRO14 Awards for the 2017/18 season at tonight’s Season Launch Party at the Argyle Street Arches in Glasgow, the nominations for a number of top awards can be revealed.
GUINNESS PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF THE SEASON:
Tadhg Beirne (Scarlets)
Hadleigh Parkes (Scarlets)
James Lowe (Leinster)
Eligibility for Players’ Player of the Season: At least nine appearances in the 2017/18 season.
GUINNESS PRO14 COACH OF THE SEASON (voted by the coaches):
Richard Cockerill (Edinburgh)
Kieran Crowley (Benetton Rugby)
Leo Cullen (Leinster)
HONDA YOUNG PLAYER OF THE SEASON (voted by the media):
Jordan Larmour (Leinster)
Blair Kinghorn (Edinburgh)
Matteo Minozzi (Zebre)
Jarrod Evans (Cardiff Blues)
The Young Player of the Season was voted on by a 75-strong media panel from across Italy, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and South Africa.
Eligibility for Young Player of the Season: At least nine appearances in the 2017/18 season, uncapped at international level at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, and aged under 23 at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
