Joe Schmidt spoke about the strength Australia showed in key areas “They’re an unbelievably athletic team, they worked pretty hard at the scrum and there was a lot of pressure at the ruck. Pocock obviously put a lot of pressure on.”

Ireland captain Peter O’Mahony spoke some of Ireland’s missed opportunities “What stood out for me was the times we had pressure on them and we hit the release valve of a turnover or a knock on and you can see how dangerous they are off break ball.”
