Ulster Bank Launches ‘Help For What Matters’ Club Roadshow

Ulster Bank, proud sponsors of the Ulster Bank League, is delighted to announce the ‘Help for What Matters’ Rugby Club Roadshow in partnership with Sport for Business.

The roadshow will include a nationwide series of rugby club events in Ulster Bank League clubs in Belfast (Belfast Harlequins RFC), Galway (Corinthians RFC), Limerick (Young Munster RFC), Cork (Cork Constitution FC) and Dublin (Lansdowne FC).

Each event will have experts speaking about sponsorship, financial planning and management, your club in the community, grant application and fundraising – all integral tools to the successful running of a club. Each session runs from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

Rugby pundit Alan Quinlan will share his insights in a Q&A session with a focus on Ireland’s Grand Slam-winning campaign and a look ahead to the final stages of the Ulster Bank League season.

Attendance at the roadshow events is free but registration is required for each. In order to register for the event of your choice, please visit www.helpforwhatmatters.com.

Announcing the partnership Carol McMahon, Head of Business Marketing and Sponsorship for Ulster Bank, said: “As proud sponsors of the Ulster Bank League, we are delighted to support events that bring clubs together and that’s exactly what the ‘Help for What Matters’ Rugby Club Roadshow does.

“It provides an opportunity for clubs to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face around sponsorship and financial planning, and it’s also a chance for collaborative learning and support.”

Rob Hartnett, Sport for Business founder (pictured above), added: “With thanks to Ulster Bank, we have gathered a panel of experts in a diverse range of specialities to illustrate the ways in which club officials and volunteers can avail of best practice, the best insight and the best means of developing their own skills and creating winning environments for their club.”
