Ulster v Glasgow Warriors Match Postponed

PRO14 Rugby have confirmed that Friday’s GUINNESS PRO14 round 17 fixture between Ulster and Glasgow Warriors has been postponed until the weekend of April 20-22.

Because of the travel implications, an early decision was made after consultation with both teams due of the severe weather warnings in place across Ireland and the UK. The health and safety of supporters, players and staff is always paramount when considering the postponement of a fixture.

Glasgow Airport has experienced significant disruptions today (including closure) and due to extreme weather and with further inclement conditions forecast for Friday night in Belfast, those travelling to the stadium would likely be exposed to hazardous conditions which raises welfare concerns.

It is in the best interests of the players, staff and supporters of both Ulster and Glasgow Warriors to postpone the fixture until the weekend of April 20/21/22. Details about kick-off time and the exact date will be released as soon as possible.

We would ask supporters for their understanding on this postponement and hope that any inconvenience caused is minor compared to the impact of making this decision closer to kick-off.

Ulster Rugby have asked supporters to retain their tickets as they will be valid for the rearranged game. Refunds are available from the point of purchase on return of your original tickets. Further information will be sent to ticket holders from Ulster Rugby and Ticketmaster directly.

For further ticket information, please contact the Ulster Rugby Ticket Office on 02890493222 (option 2) or via tickets@ulsterrugby.com.
