#BringIt To Belfast

Three sell-out match days in Dublin delivered drama and compelling action as well as record TV audiences. The UCD fanzone was packed with fun and colour. The Women’s Rugby World Cup has captured hearts and minds as well as headlines. Now it’s time to #BringIt to Belfast.

Kingspan Stadium is all set to host two cracking semi-finals and Ireland’s 5th-8th place play-off on Tuesday, while the other ranking games will be played at the superb Queen’s University venue.

The action kicks off at Queen’s at midday on Tuesday with Italy and Japan contesting one of the 9th-12th place play-offs. Spain, Hong Kong, Canada and Wales complete the line up at QUB with tickets on sale from Ticketmaster.

Ireland and Australia get the action underway at Kingspan Stadium the same day with the match kicking off at 2pm. Next up is the last-four clash between New Zealand’s Black Ferns and the USA. England and France complete the semi-final line-up at the home of Ulster Rugby, with a terrific day of international rugby in prospect.

Tickets for the WRWC 2017 semi-finals and play-off matches are available from Ticketmaster.

Speaking about the tournament so far, World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont said: “This has been a very special Women’s Rugby World Cup on and off the field, and Dublin has certainly played its part as an exceptional host. From the facilities to the excellent fans and superb volunteers, there has been a special family atmosphere.

“As we look to Belfast and the business end of the tournament, I would like to thank everyone involved in delivering a wonderful event in Dublin, the IRFU and Government, but especially the fans and volunteers, who have been outstanding.”
