Watch Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt announce the team to face Japan in the final Test of the 2017 summer tour. He was at the top table for the team announcement press conference in Tokyo today.
There are a number of changes to the side from last Saturday’s 50-22 first Test win, with Joe Schmidt opting to use ‘some fresh players and give an opportunity to guys who didn’t get a chance last week’.
Schmidt also commented on the selected Japanese team, adding: “I think they will be tougher this weekend. They will have worked hard this week and we will have to work harder to get the scoring opportunities on Saturday.”
