Ulster Add Northampton Fixture To Pre-Season Schedule

Ulster have today announced that they will travel to Franklin’s Gardens to play English club Northampton Saints in a pre-season game on Friday, August 25.

The sides also met before the 2016/17 season got underway, with Ulster sealing a hugely entertaining 29-19 win thanks to tries from Louis Ludik, Charles Piutau, Rob Herring and Jacob Stockdale.

Northampton Saints, who have 19 internationals on their roster including British & Irish Lions Courtney Lawes and George North, will be an ideal hit-out for Les Kiss’ Ulster squad just one week prior to the start of the GUINNESS PRO12 season. Tickets for the game can be accessed directly from Northampton Saints.

Ulster’s home pre-season match against Wasps – one of their Champions Cup pool opponents next season – at Kingspan Stadium has been scheduled for Thursday, August 17 (kick-off 7.30pm). Tickets for that match are already on sale via ulsterrugby.com/buytickets.

Please note that this game, along with 11 PRO12 and 3 Champions Cup clashes, are included in the Ulster Rugby 2017/18 Season Ticket. Visit ulsterrugby.com/seasontickets for more information.
