Irish Rugby TV: John Ryan Looking Forward To First Start

Ice baths were the order of the day after a hard training session in Hoboken, New Jersey today. We caught up with Munster and Ireland prop John Ryan as he prepares for the conditions and facing the USA.

Speaking about being named as Ireland’s starting tighthead, John Ryan said: “I’m absolutely delighted to get my first start, pretty excited (for Saturday’s game against the USA). We had a good hit-out today, and I don’t do well in the heat so it was good to get the ice bath in afterwards!”
