Irish Rugby TV: Simon Easterby On Ireland’s USA Opportunity
The Ireland squad travelled to America on Monday and set up base in Jersey City. We caught up with forwards coach Simon Easterby on Tuesday as the squad settled in.
Joe Schmidt’s men flew out of Dublin on Monday with Aer Lingus and landed in JFK Airport before heading on to the team hotel in Jersey City.

There were media duties on Tuesday morning for Cian Healy, Keith Earls and Garry Ringrose as well as forward coach Simon Easterby.
Against the backdrop of the dramatic Manhattan skyline, we spoke to Simon who gave us a rundown on the week ahead, and he spoke about the challenge posed by the USA as well as the opportunity for some young Irish players to make a mark.
