The annual Colours match between Division 1A rivals UCD and Dublin University may be a league game but there is much more at stake than that.

UCD are currently fifth in the top flight table with Trinity just three points behind them in seventh place. UCD took the spoils (23-13) at the start of the season when the sides met at College Park and should be favourites on their home patch in Belfield.
