The final of the Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup between reigning champions Enniscorthy and Ashbourne takes place at Donnybrook this Saturday. Irish Rugby TV visited Ashbourne to preview the big match.
“We know we have a big challenge but to win the Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup in our second year would be fantastic,” said team captain Gavin Kennedy.
Ashbourne coach Peter O’Donnell is relishing the prospect of playing the cup holders in the final, saying: “The cup was something we wanted to focus on this season. It’s been a great competition and we’ve played against teams from each province on the way to the final and now we complete it with a match against Enniscorthy.”
The Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup final will be live on the IRFU Facebook and YouTube pages on Saturday from 2.30pm
