The RBS 6 Nations was officially launched with a media day at the Hurlingham Club in London yesterday. Irish Rugby TV spoke to Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt on the day.
It was a busy day with over 400 media people present and the coaches were on rotation throughout the day speaking to press, TV, online and radio.
While many were keen to reference Ireland’s win over New Zealand, Joe Schmidt was looking to next week’s Championship opener against Scotland and running the rule over the uncapped and new players in the Ireland squad.
