The first of the four Provincial Finals in the IRFU Girls X7s secondary school competition took place today, with the Leinster Branch hosting an action-packed series of games at Donnybrook. Check out some photos from the day.

Teams from each of the Provincial Finals (Leinster – October 20, Connacht – October 25, Ulster – October 25, Munster – October 26) will progress to the Girls X7s National Finals which will take place at Tallaght Stadium on Thursday, November 10.
The X7s game is played on a half pitch with 7 players on each team.
Players learn the basics of rugby, including catch/pass, tackle, ruck contact area, lineout and scrum set-up. For more information, please visit www.irishrugby.ie/GiveItATry.
