#GiveItATry – Eve’s Story

16-year-old Eve Higgins has been selected in the Girls Under-18s Sevens squad for the UK School Games. She has been playing rugby since she was eight. This is her story.

She started at 8 years of age and ended up playing on a boys mini rugby team at first. Eight years on she has been selected as part of the Ireland U-18 Girls training squad and in the Combined Provinces squad for the UK School Games.

She started out using her swing set as goal posts and hopes one day to pull on the green jersey and play for Ireland.
