Division 1A –

Beaten finalists Cork Constitution are also on the road for their first game, travelling to newly-promoted St. Mary’s College – back in the top flight after one season in Division 1B.

The league kicks off with a Friday Night Lights clash at Lakelands Park on Friday, September 16 when Terenure College host promoted Dublin University.

Division 1B –

In Division 1B, Ballynahinch, relegated after a play-off with Trinity, will begin their campaign to get back up with a home tie against Buccaneers whom they beat 41-19 in the semi-final play-off last April.

Galwegians, also chasing an immediate return to the top flight, are away to Naas, who topped Division 2A by winning 14 games in an impressive season.

Division 2A –

Blackrock College and Belfast Harlequins, dropping down to Division 2A, kick off their campaigns at home to Corinthians and Nenagh Ormond, who finished eighth and fifth respectively.

Newly-promoted Sunday’s Well travel to Banbridge, who missed out on promotion in the play-offs at the end of April. Highfield, winners of Division 2B, are at home to Queen’s University for their first match in Division 2A.

Division 2B –

Skerries and Thomond face touch opening games in Division 2B – on the road to City of Derry and Wanderers respectively.

The Ulster side missed out on promotion by the narrowest of margins last season, while the Dublin Club came through the play-offs in Division 2C.

Division 2C –

Finally, in Division 2C, newly-promoted Bangor face the recently relegated Rainey Old Boys in an Ulster club derby to savour.

Tullamore, who finished second in the league but lost out on promotion in the play-offs, will face the newly-relegated Seapoint at Kilbogget Park on the opening weekend.
