Last Friday after the Captain’s Run, the Ireland coaches took time out to visit Rondebosch Prep and held a coaching clinic for the boys.
Joe Schmidt, Andy Farrell, Simon Easterby and Richie Murphy, along with team manager Mick Kearney, travelled to Rondebosch Prep to hold a coaching clinic with some of the youngsters.
Joe certainly seemed to relish being back to his roots and Andy, Simon and Richie all took different groups for the training session.
It was a fantastic afternoon against the magnificent backdrop of Cape Town, organised by former Old Belvedere player Willie McDonald, who currently lives in Cape Town.
