Ulster Bank League Play-Offs Add Spice To Club Season Finale

The Ulster Bank League is set to finish with a number of high stake fixtures as clubs seek to secure title glory or divisional status for the following season. The play-offs take place across the next two weekends with the Division 1A final hosted at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, May 8.

Table toppers Clontarf entertain UCD and third-placed Young Munster travel to Temple Hill to take on Cork Constitution in the Division 1A semi-finals.
 
St. Mary’s College have secured automatic promotion to Division 1A, so Dublin University, Ballymena and Buccaneers enter the play-offs with the ninth-placed team from the top flight, Ballynahinch. Trinity take on Ballymena with Buccs travelling to ‘Hinch, with the winners meeting for the final spot in Division 1A.
 
Naas have secured automatic promotion to Division 1B, so Banbridge, UCC and Cashel enter the play-offs with the ninth-placed team in Division 1B, Blackrock College. Bann host UCC with Cashel clashing with Blackrock, and the winners playing off for the final spot in Division 1B.
 
Highfield have secured automatic promotion to Division 2A, and Sunday’s Well and Greystones claimed victories over City of Derry and Skerries respectively to book their places in the Division 2A promotion play-off final. 
 
Old Crescent gained automatic promotion to Division 2B. Tullamore and Wanderers were play-off winners over Bruff and Rainey Old Boys respectively to advance to the Division 2B promotion play-off final.
