New Cork Volkswagen Tag Venue at UCC

The IRFU are delighted to announce University College Cork as its brand new Volkswagen Tag host club for Cork city.

Volkswagen Tag in Cork will from this Summer, take place at the Mardyke Sports Ground, University College Cork. Known to taggers all over Cork City, Venue Manager, Joerg is all set to get things underway along with the rugy club at this renowned location from Thursday May 12th. Leagues will run for nine weeks until Finals Night on Thursday, 7th July.

Now in its tenth year running, Volkswagen Tag is Ireland’s only official IRFU tag rugby programme and are the only leagues played at rugby clubs in all four provinces. Focus is honed in on its key values: social, mixed, non-contact, teamwork, fun, respect and fitness.

Signing up a team to play at UCC is easy and performed online by way of completion of registration form (see HERE) with payment of just €;525 for team fee, securing your team’s place. Nowhere else will this price be beaten. Registrations close off once leagues filled and places are subject to availability, on a first-come, first-served basis. Already a league of 8 has been filled, so time is of the essence, in order to avoid disappointment.
