Leinster ‘A’ Aim For Home Quarter-Final In B&I Cup

With a last-eight place secured after last week’s away win over Moseley, Leinster ‘A’ are looking to seal a home quarter-final in the British & Irish Cup with a victory over Rotherham Titans at Donnybrook on Friday night (kick-off 7.30pm).

There are six changes to the team for their final pool match. Cian Kelleher will start on the wing after coming on as a half-time replacement for Adam Byrne against Moseley.

On the opposite wing, Mick McGrath comes in to replace Darragh Fanning who is named on the bench. There are starts in the centre for Rory O’Loughlin and Harrison Brewer, the first start for either player so far in this season’s competition.

There is also a change in the half-back pairing as Steve Crosbie comes in to wear the number 10 jersey in place of Cathal Marsh. Nick McCarthy continues at scrum half.

The only alteration in the pack sees Leinster Under-20 captain James Ryan, who has impressed for Lansdowne of late, start in the second row alongside St. Mary’s College clubman David O’Connor.

Leinster ‘A’ v Rotherham Titans tickets are on sale now online or can be purchased on the night at the gate from €;10 for adults and €;5 for children. Leinster Rugby Season Ticket holders can gain entry by producing their Season Ticket card at the gate.
