Healy Cited For Alleged Strike With Knee

EPCR has received a citing complaint against Leinster prop Cian Healy following the European Champions Cup round 3 match against Toulon at Stade Félix Mayol last Sunday.

Cian Healy is alleged to have struck Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado with his knee in the 26th minute of the match. He was yellow carded by referee Nigel Owens following the incident.

The complaint was made by the match citing commissioner John Byett from England.

Wales’ Roger Morris has been appointed as the independent judicial officer for the disciplinary hearing which will take place in Paris on Thursday.
