Ireland Tickets Sell Out In Record Time

Tickets for Ireland’s home RBS 6 Nations matches against Wales and Scotland sold out in record time today as Irish Rugby Supporters Club members jumped at the chance to see the team in action.

The tickets went on sale at 10am this morning and the games against Wales and Scotland sold out in under ten minutes.

A handful of Italy tickets were still on sale this evening but are expected to be gone very quickly.

Speaking about the sale, IRFU Commercial Director Padraig Power said: “Irish rugby supporters were magnificent during the Rugby World Cup so it is no surprise that they snapped up tickets for the RBS 6 Nations this morning.

“Their support in a packed Aviva Stadium and on the road is always appreciated and we are delighted to be able to offer the Supporters Club members the opportunity to purchase these tickets when we can.”
