Irish Rugby has has reached half a million likes on Facebook and to celebrate we’re giving away a signed Ireland Rugby World Cup jersey.
This week saw Irish Rugby reach another social media milestone as we passed 500,000 likes on Facebook.
To celebrate this, we are giving away a signed Ireland Rugby World Cup jersey on our Facebook page.
The Rugby World Cup saw huge growth in our online community with over 48,000 new supporters on Facebook and huge traffic across all the Irish Rugby platforms.
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and IrishRugby.ie played a crucial role during the Rugby World Cup as part of the #ShoulderToShoulder campaign to bring Irish supporters closer to the team and to give them an insight into life in camp.
The online campaign recently won the award for Best Use of Social Media at the inaugural Sport Industry Awards.
