Ulster Bank League Live: UCD v Clontarf

The Ulster Bank League kicks off tonight with a mouthwatering Friday Night Lights clash in Dublin as UCD host last season’s beaten finalists Clontarf. The Division 1A opener will be streamed live on Irish Rugby TV (kick-off 7.30pm).

The Belfield Bowl, which recently played host to the Women’s Sevens Dublin tournament, is the setting for tonight’s season opener in Division 1A of the Ulster Bank League.

Speaking at the launch of the league at the Aviva Stadium this week, UCD captain Stephen Murphy said: “We finished mid-table last season and we are looking to push forward this year and get in a top four spot to challenge for the play-offs.”

Commentary on the game will be provided by Gordon Black of the IRFU and Dermot O’Mahony from the Leinster Branch.

The game kicks off live on Irish Rugby TV at 7.30pm.
