Following today’s exciting matches in round 22 of the GUINNESS PRO12, the following play-off participants, venues, dates and kick off times can now be confirmed.
Play-Off 1 – Friday, May 22 at 7.45pm at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow – Glasgow Warriors (1st) v ULSTER (4th). Live on Sky Sports and terrestrial channels to be confirmed.
Play-Off 2 – Saturday, May 23 at 2.30pm at Thomond Park, Limerick – MUNSTER (2nd) v Ospreys (3rd). Live on Sky Sports and terrestrial channels to be confirmed.
Leinster and the Scarlets have automatically qualified to play in the European Champions Cup next season.
The seventh-placed team, Connacht, will play Gloucester at Kingsholm, Gloucester on Sunday, May 24 at 3.30pm in the EPCR play-off. The winners of that game will play the seventh-placed Top 14 qualifiers at home on Sunday, May 31 at 5pm to determine who will play in the European Champions Cup next season.
As Benetton Treviso topped Zebre in the PRO12 standings, they will play in the European Champions Cup next season. Edinburgh, the Newport Gwent Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Zebre will play in the European Challenge Cup next season.
