Coghlan Murray Agrees To Join Nottingham

Sam Coghlan Murray, a winger who has impressed for UCD and Leinster ‘A’ this season, has agreed a deal to join Nottingham in the English Championship.

Sam Coghlan Murray joined the Leinster Academy in 2010 and started in the Leinster ‘A’ team’s two British & Irish Cup triumphs over Newcastle Falcons in 2013 and Leeds Carnegie in 2014.

The 23-year-old flyer scored a brace of tries in the 2014 final as Girvan Dempsey’s young side defeated Leeds 44-17 at Donnybrook.

The former Newbridge College student has featured in two games for the province’s senior team. Both came during the RBS 6 Nations window last season against Zebre away (31-8) and Glasgow Warriors at the RDS (28-25).
