Barnhall Introduce New ‘Buffaloes’ Special Needs Team

MU Barnhall RFC are very proud to announce the addition of their newest team to the Leixlip-based club, ‘the Buffaloes’.

The Buffaloes are a Tag rugby team for adults with special needs. Players will be supported by their coaches to learn the skills needed to play Tag rugby. This team will have a big emphasis on fun and community participation and all are welcome to come and give Tag rugby a try.

Training starts on Sunday, May 24 at the MU Barnhall grounds in Parsonstown, Leixlip, Co. Kildare from 12 noon to 1pm.

If anyone would like more information, please feel free to email buffaloes@nuimbarnhall.com or contact James Jones (0873768754) or Anthony Larkin (0872128837).

Barnhall have been known as ‘NUIM Barnhall’ in recent seasons, but they have now changed the club name to ‘MU Barnhall’ to be in line with their partners Maynooth University who previously operated as the National University Ireland Maynooth or NUIM.
