Massive Surge In Demand For Ireland v Georgia Tickets

In the hours after Ireland recorded a famous 29-15 victory over the Springboks, fans flocked online with over 2,000 tickets sold immediately following the first Test of the GUINNESS Series on Saturday.

The final game of the GUINNESS Series against Australia is a sell-out as are Ireland’s two RBS 6 Nations home fixtures against England and France, so the Georgia game is the last opportunity to support the Ireland team this season.

Ticket sales for the November 22 clash with Georgia currently stand at around 37,000, with tickets prices starting at €;20 for adults and €;5 for children.

Padraig Power, IRFU Commercial and Marketing Director, commented: “Ticket sales for the Georgia game had been pretty strong before Saturday’s game against South Africa but following the team’s incredible performance there has been a real surge in sales.

“With the Australia game already sold out and both of our home Six Nations games sold out already, this is the last opportunity fans will have to support the team this season.”
