Girls Under-18 Interprovincial Development Blitz

Girls from all four provinces will gather in Westmanstown this Saturday for an Under-18 Interprovincial development blitz.

The Girls Under-18s squads from each province will travel to Westmanstown RFC, Lucan, this weekend to take part in a development blitz.

Matches kick off at 12pm with Connacht playing Ulster and Munster playing Leinster in the first round. Last year Leinster left with two wins from two, beating Connacht 19-0 and Munster 3-0.

However, with each province training hard over the last few weeks in the lead up to this blitz all teams will be looking to come away with victories and strong performances.

With all four teams boasting Ireland Under-18 Sevens representation in their squad, the matches this weekend will further showcase the development and progress of Women’s and Girls’ rugby in each of these provinces.

Venue: Westmanstown RFC, Lucan
Round 1 – 12pm: Connacht v Ulster; Munster v Leinster
Round 2 – 2.30pm: Connacht v Leinster; Ulster v Munster
