Munster Launch New European Kit

Munster Rugby and adidas have today launched a new European kit to be worn by Anthony Foley’s men in this season’s European Rugby Champions Cup.

This is the first time Munster have launched a European kit and features two stars to represent Munster’s European successes of 2006 and 2008.

It will be worn for the first time when Anthony Foley’s charges open their inaugural Champions Cup campaign away to Sale Sharks on Saturday, October 18.

In recognising the contribution of ‘the 16th man’ to the European successes of Munster over the years, supporters were invited to submit their names and locations for an online competition on the Life Style Sports website, with winners being included in the European kit advertising campaign.

As part of the new campaign, supporters names and locations from throughout the province and further afield come together to form the new jersey which is available exclusively at all Life Style Sports outlets nationwide and online at www.lifestylesports.com from tomorrow.

Munster captain Peter O’Mahony is pictured in the new European kit. Please note: the socks will feature red hoops similar to jersey. There will be no white colouring.
