Ashbourne Family Day To Celebrate 40 Seasons

Ashbourne Rugby Club will kick off their 40th season with a Family Fun Day this Sunday featuring some very special silverware.

The Ultimate Family Day on Sunday, August 31 (starting at 2pm) at Ashbourne RFC promises to be a great day out.

It is a day for young and old, as well as people who are part of the club but also for those who might be interested in joining in.

A lot of effort has gone into the arrangements and the club is expecting a good turnout. It is very much based on the Leinster/IRFU Club open day with opportunities to register for the season for the Youth and Mini section, boys and girls, network with club members and make new friends and get to know your local community club.

There is also a lot of entertainment on the day and a good day is guaranteed to all.

As well as the Leinster trophies from last season and the RBS 6 Nations trophy, Leo the Lion and Mr. Tayto will be there to welcome everybody. These cups will look great with the two Provincial Towns Cups and the McGee and Division 1B cups as well!

Ashbourne RFC look forward to seeing you there on Sunday afternoon with the kick-off planned for 2pm.
