O’Reilly To Referee World Cup Semi-Final

Ireland will have double the interest in the semi-finals of the Women’s Rugby World Cup with the news that Helen O’Reilly has been appointed to referee the game between hosts France and Canada on Wednesday night.

Helen O’Reilly’s superb refereeing performances have been rewarded with her appointment to the semi-final between tournament hosts France and Canada.

The match will take place this Wednesday after the hugely anticipated and historic semi-final between Ireland and England. Kick-off for the France v Canada game is 7.45pm Irish time and the game will be live on TG4 and Sky Sports 4.

The IRFU wish to congratulate Helen on what is a fantastic achievement for her and for Irish rugby and we wish her all the best on Wednesday and for the remainder of the tournament.
