Munster Unveil New Alternate Kit

The Munster Rugby adidas alternate jersey and training kit for the 2014/15 season will be available to purchase from Life Style Sports Stores nationwide from this Friday.

Munster’s Peter O’Mahony, Paul O’Connell, Conor Murray and Simon Zebo met with media today in UL in officially launching the new adidas rugby range.

The province’s new alternate jersey features a striking embossed stag at the centre, derived from the Munster crest and created by a local artist.

The solar green colour was chosen to represent the strength of the travelling army of Munster supporters, while the six Munster counties are featured in the nape of the military style collar.

The jersey and kit will be available to buy from Friday (August 1) in Life Style Sports Stores nationwide and online here.

Munster will wear the alternate kit when they face Gloucester away in the pre-season game on Saturday, August 23 in Kingsholm.

The players took part in their final training session today ahead of this year’s Munster Race which kicks off in the morning. Keep an eye out for the squad as they wear the new Munster Rugby training kit while making their way around the province.

Following completion of the Munster Race 2014, the players will round off their fifth week of pre-season with an open training session at Rugbaí Corca Duibhne on Friday morning at 10.30am, which is free to all.
