Volkswagen Tag All-Ireland Championships at Old Belvedere RFC

Invitations to compete in the 2014 IRFU Volkswagen Tag All-Ireland Championships have already been sent out to teams in the various grades around Ireland.

As teams sign up from participating host clubs throughout the four provinces, at time of writing, there are places available in the following disciplines:-

– Paul Flood Memorial Trophy x 4
– B Grade x 1
– C Grade x 4
– D/Beginners x 3
– Vets (Men – Over 33) x 2

The day is divided into TWO blocks. The first block commences at approximately 10.30 and will see the Vets and D/Beginners Grade tournaments kick off. The second block of games overlaps with the first as the earlier grades reach their playoffs stage. This second block will consist of the Paul Flood Memorial Trophy and C Grades take place. The B Grade is currently planned for the first half of the day. However, based on queries received, B Grade may expand due to demand and may be moved to the latter half of the day’s proceedings. Teams will be notified once finalised (as soon as possible).

As we approach the big day, it is more likely that these places may not be available for much longer.

Please note that if a league does not show in the online registration drop-down menu, this means that it is FULL.
Please do not register in any other grade but your own. Also due to the usual high demand, it is not possible to reserve a place. Registrations must be completed online to be included in the draw.

If a league has already filled up and you still wish to take part but did not sign up in time, please contact us by emailing tag@irfu.ie and request to be added to the waiting list. We will then notify you, should a place become available.
