Video Highlights: Ireland Under-20s’ Victory Over Fiji

Ireland’s dominant scrum did most of the damage as Mike Ruddock’s side booked their place in the IRB Junior World Championship semi-finals with a 38-0 bonus point defeat of Fiji.

Three penalty tries and two second half efforts from backs Ciaran Gaffney and Conor McKeon helped Ireland secure top spot in Pool B, with France slipping up against Wales in their final game.

Mike Ruddock’s young charges now have four days to prepare for a mouth-watering semi-final clash with defending champions England, who were run close by Argentina (17-16) earlier today.

Sunday’s JWC semi-finals – England v Ireland (kick-off 5.05pm local time/6.05am Irish time) and South Africa v New Zealand – will be broadcast live on TG4 and Sky Sports 1 HD.
