Leinster School Of Excellence Is Sold Out

Leinster Rugby have announced that this year’s ‘School of Excellence’ programme has now sold out for all four weeks.

The popular summer programme is designed to give rugby players between 12 and 16 the opportunity to train and be coached in a professional environment, and to experience what their role models are doing on a day-to-day basis.

With all residential places in the King’s Hospital completely sold out, there are a very limited number of non-residential camp places left on offer. Visit www.leinsterrugby.ie/soe for further details.

Tom McKeown, Manager of the Leinster School of Excellence, said: “The programme and content of the week has been remodelled and now the players will have the chance to learn all the vital skills as well as video analysis that is relevant to their field activities and gym introduction from professional Leinster Rugby staff.

“Also, there will be a presentation from our professional nutritionist to help the diet of the young rugby player.”

The province hope that the players enjoy training ‘the Leinster way’ and can benefit from what is a detailed and high quality rugby programme.

Places are still available for Leinster’s Herald Summer Camps which are geared for players aged between 6 and 12. Visit www.leinsterrugby.ie/camps for more on the 2014 Summer Camps.
