The Irish youngsters are coached by former Ulster and Ireland scrum half Kieran Campbell, who captained Ireland for the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament in Dubai.

Campbell’s charges warmed up for the European Sevens by winning the Under-19 Cup competition at the Guinness Carrick Sevens tournament last Friday. They are seeded eighth of the 16 teams competing in Lisbon.
