Ulster Bank Bateman Cup Final Date Confirmed

The date, venue and kick-off time have been confirmed for the final of the Ulster Bank Bateman All-Ireland Cup between defending champions Cork Constitution and UCD.

Cork Constitution won the toss to host the final and as defending champions they will be looking to keep the venerable cup on Leeside for another season.

This season’s final kicks off at 2.30 pm at Temple Hill on Saturday, May 3.

Constitution overcame Ulster Senior Cup champions Queen’s University at the semi-final stage, emerging as convincing 47-14 winnrs.

Leinster Senior League Cup winners UCD booked their place in the decider with 21-20 victory over Galwegians in a thrilling last-four clash.

The students are currently four points ahead of their Cork rivals in Ulster Bank League Division 1A, with honours even over the two league games this season.

UCD won in Belfield on a 23-17 scoreline back in November, while Cork Con won 14-6 when the sides met at Temple Hill in January.
